well...it took awhile, but my FJ coded out again Tuesday- kinda weird in that it took two weeks to do so, during which I drove 1500 miles and filled and emptied both tanks a few times. I'll call Man-A-Fre; in the meantime I've installed a Scangauge to make clearing codes easier.
Yeah, same here.

Doesn't seem to be any clear pattern for me anymore either. I bought an OBDII reader to clear the codes, which I've been able to use on other cars already as well.

I just leave my lights on. Hate to look at them all the time. Just waiting for Ben to give us a thumbs up on the latest fix. I hope, I hope.

Re: FJ Cruiser Auxiliary Fuel Tank --> INSTALLED

I spoke too soon!

Started up the FJ today after filling up the tank yesterday and got another check list, which is consistent with my previous pattern of getting them after fill-ups.

Again no clue as to why, but my OBDII reader is paying for itself in spades.

Re: FJ Cruiser Auxiliary Fuel Tank --> INSTALLED

Having the ScanGauge makes it easy to clear codes, compared to having to plug in the code reader at random times. Earlier this week, I emptied my MAF aux tank and have been driving with a mostly full main tank and an empty aux tank, and have coded a few days in a row. I'm trying to figure out (as I'm sure you guys have) if there is any consistency to the codes.
I'm hoping to have time to call MAF next week and see what insight they might have.

Re: FJ Cruiser Auxiliary Fuel Tank --> INSTALLED

I had to post this tonight. My lights went OUT. Didn't do anything but start it up. Didn't fill up or transfer fuel, they just went OUT. Hooooorahhh.

It won't last long though. I know, what an optimist.
