Can you elaborate on what part you used to make this stronger? Thanks.
Only just saw this, sorry

The arms got replaced - think this is in the write-up (I have the MAF HD / high angle parts). We also changed out the nuts/bolts that came with the system and now have a couple of locking nuts on the bolts.

Most recently, I'm testing some new rear arms that Total Chaos are coming out with. They were very careful to put a setup on that should not shake loose in any circumstances. I'll report up on what I find with those.

I guess when I get back, I probably need to overhaul the write up since a bunch of stuff has now changed with the truck.

I need to figure out what Todd has on the back now. It's some Icon development, right? The back end feels like a pig now that I have the TC 2" LT upfront I think just standard rear shocks (even King or Icon) ain't going to do it... Need something that moves very much better... For now the OME LT shocks with remotes will work. But the rear's now definitely my next mod.

In either case, I'm spent for a little while after the Kings, TC arms, fuel filter fix, rear ring+pinion blow out, etc. - that's like $8k... gulp...

Hmm. should probably take some photos of the rear arms Just beat them up on a fast loop up Long Canyon and down Shafer (in Moab this week! )

Re: the mir207 machine

Hey Mir'... How are the new springs working ?...

I am in need of some springs that can hold more
weight over the 896' I have now, since I carry a
big assortment of trail/road tools, parts, and such...

You run the 897's now ?... Thanks much !... ...

I was asking more along the lines of axle housing and ring+pinion. Wasn't sure if you were going to upgrade to a 9" or keep the stock toy housing.

Todd is just running a Icon rear shock and spring set up, The new Icon piggy back would be a HUGE improvement over the standard Icon monotube shock. Still not up to matching the performance of the front LT but it would get you close with out having to do something custom to get more travel.

Lucky dog playing in Moab.... testing TC parts.

Re: the mir207 machine

Nice rig man! I'm looking for a 3" lift and i was looking at the OME one on the man-a-fre website. would you recomend the total chaos upper control arms or the control arms that M-A-F offers below the OME sytem on thier website?

I've only run the TC uppers - by the time MAF came out with their uppers, I already had my LT kit on. I'm guessing that the MAF kit and the TC kit are pretty comparable in performance.

Loooong time replying, sorry I'm looking at a diamond axle and going to an FJ80 third (that's about 9.5" ring) and that would force a shift to a rear ARB locker too. The main reason for looking at a whole new rear end is the current one is sagging in the middle.

SAGGING ? ... HOW Did that happen, please tell
me it was from a big air move with all the weight
from the trail gear inside, and not that it just
bent !... ...

Well, UPGRADE's are always nice I guess !... ...
