Woots, nice one there Mark. Did they throw in any sweet deals for you?
Nah, FourTreks is not yet an official sponsor. They need to pay-to-play if they want sticker space on the rig, though

Oh, should have edited that out. Those *are* geeky. WRF is the most obscure one there...

latest bits from Oct 14

Added stuff about the tires and wheels, some more detailed stuff about the CO2 tank, and photos of the ARB fridge all dressed up in it's sweater...

SFA, massive lift

So I bought myself a second FJC. Yellow this time. Fully tricked out, SAS, crazy lift, and tires as high as the vehicle itself. Really went for a rock crawler this time.

Like a real FJC.

Just 1/10th it's size

Seems like you put a bigger lift on it than me. What's the drive shaft/axles like (locked 4x4?) What size / type tires? Importantly, what's the suspension setup that you went with, and what's the RTI?

Re: the mir207 machine - Number 2

Turns out that the beast gets a 1750 RTI - absolutely shaming vehicle #1's 600 RTI. That corresponds to an impressive "one pen length" vertical lift of one tire (all three others remaining on the ground), for a wheel base of 1 and 2/3 of a pen length. Then an RTI calculator.

That is one nice looking truck. Your write up has helped me get started on mine long term plan. Mine is a daily driver for my wife drive since i travel 69 miles one way. I do really love your ride.

Thanks, and I'm glad the write-up is useful. I think there are only a few things I would do differently if I were using this as a daily driver. The tcase swap would be the main thing, and I might be more worried about making my lights more robust (against elements and theft). Otherwise, I think most stuff I've done would be fine for daily drive as well as offroad - the great thing about the FJC.

Beautiful FJC Mark! Someday we'll have to go wheeling together.
