WOW, you've really come a long way from stock. Great job. I can't imagine what else you can put on that thing, but I bet you'll figure something out!
Thanks, jen. Yeah, I got some more crazy ideas up my sleeve.

And, here's another one of them:

I did a simple modification of the OEM roof rack to allow three adjacent crossbars to have the combined strength to safely support the weight of three (or more) secured gas cans.

(Full details in Roof rack crossbar mod: 3 is stronger than 1 (pics))

Re: LandCruiserSteve's Sun Fusion

And, a few more add-ons since last time . . . . .

A painted bezel.

A Streamlight flashlight with a DC charger mounted in the driver's door.

A full-sized Maglight mounted on the front of "the Box."

A cell phone holder mounted on the dash.

And, a set of Sun Fusion color-keyed grocery haulers in the rear cargo area that easily swap out with ice chests.

Flashlights, cell phone, groceries . . . .

That's all . . . . . for now.

Re: LandCruiserSteve's Sun Fusion

Great job on a very clean, thoughtfully built-out FJ...but there is no real end to mods is there?

Looks great Steve. I am truly impressed. I've been thinking of an UltraStinger, but it would be too big your your spot. Suppose I'll have to wait until I get one and then see what can fit where. Still thinking about the mirrors / door handles in black?

Thanks, WZRD. Yep, still planning on the mirrors and handles. But, got a front bumper swap-out I got to do first.

It's not fair to say you're going to install a front bumper without telling us which one you selected.

Or is this one of those things where you're going to keep us in suspense and then spring it on us?

SHADOW WARRIOR keeps doing the same thing -- he's going to put his TRD rig on a member build-up thread and I'm still waiting. One day he'll post it and his TRD will be modified such that it will look suspiciously more like a Unimog than a Toyota.
