Is there no end to the time and money that you can dump into these crazy things????
I certainly hope not!!
I started off with a base unit Sun Fusion 4x4 auto transmission with the locking rear diff.
Build date: 11/06
Purchase date: 01/07
Purchase price: $25,700
Other onboard OEM items included:
Convenience Package
Roof rack (option added at time of purchase)
Side curtain air bags
Standard single disc radio
17" standard black steel wheels (initially with stock Dunlap tires)
Within 20 miles of initial purchase, I traded the stock Dunlaps in for a set of BFG 285 AT's. A set of 5 wheel locks will at least slow down a meat thief. I also removed the front and rear mud flaps.
Next up was the $48 switch to give me A-Trac. While I was at it, I consolidated all of my existing switches to the top row of the panel. (Is the proper term "obsessive-compulsive?")
An old pair of ConFerr HiLift brackets and a set of 1 3/4" U-bolts found their way to the right side of the OEM roof rack.
A screaming deal on a pair of OEM sliders (dealer "pull-off's") made their way under the truck.
The OME "Heavy" (886/896) lift kit was installed by my local Toyota dealer yielding about 3 1/2" up front and about 2 1/4" in the rear.

The 165 pound Warn winch bumper and a 70 pound M8000 winch told me that I shouldn't dream about any decent gas mileage . . . .
ever!!. (My chiropractor made a few bucks off of my installation as well.)

A pair of 100 watt KC off-road lights were mounted on the Warn bumper's built-in light brackets.
The winch solenoid box got tucked under the hood.
Later on in this thread (due to some slight fitment problems), an All-Pro front bumper will eventually replace the Warn.
A dash-mounted XM radio install put the unit within easy view for an old fart's diminishing eyesight.

A beloved and aged Uniden (modified 15 watt) CB found a home on the back of the console. A Bandi Mount takes care of antenna support duties.

To further decrease the MPG's, I built a rear full-length cargo box that occupies everything from the back door all the way forward to where the back seats once were. Two large drawers in the back section, a 12 cubic foot lift-top storage box to the front, and an add-on "sleep panel" that accommodates an inflatable full-size bed.

The BOX revisted: final wrap-up.
An electric shotgun lock/rack was mounted on forward section of storage box. (Lock release triggered by remote button.) And, a fire extinguisher was mounted to the rear seat platform.
I painted the plastic rear bumper wings. (Rustoleum Textured Black For Plastic.)
I installed the OEM trailer hitch system. While doing so, I also painted the new lower trim panel to match the previously painted side bumper wings.
Later on in this thread, an All-Pro rear bumper will eventually replace the OEM bumper.

Other
not-so-noteworthy mods:
Removed driver's armrest (too low - never used; covered hole w/ spare passenger side plug).
Disconnected DRL's.
Hidden back-up key wing-nutted to someplace underneath.
Painted wheel balance weights black.
2" blind-spot mirrors on both driver's and passenger's side.
One push/unlock all doors remotes (dealer programmed).
For some crazy reason, I get the feeling that I'm just getting started . . . .
