Hey Treknwil, Are you a fabricator by trait?

Cya
No, I'm an Electrician. But my boss is a Machinist, and has been teaching how to work metal. Is fun but its hard work(metal is not lite). So guess who gets to do welding project now?? I guess that's why he's the boss.

Treknwill~

can you post a pic of your whole rig? I'm sure we'd all like to see the front/side profile
I don't have a recent pic with all mods. I'll try and get one soon.

Re: Treknwil's FJC mods

That is fantastic that you have the ability to do that work yourself. You should think about producing and selling some of those items you fabricated.

Re: Treknwil's FJC mods

Nice job with all the mods Treknwill. Those lower control arms look beefy but do you find the polyurethane bushings they use make the ride a little on the stiff side?

Yes. I have notice a little stiffer ride. I haven't been out wheeling with them yet, so I don't know if they limit flex at all. I hope not. If they do I mite look into swapping the OEM bushings in to them.

Re: Treknwil's FJC mods

After looking at some of the rear door racks out there, I decided to make my own. So I used shelve channel from hardware store. Cost me about $12. Drilled thought the plastic and bolted the channel to it. Then use a back pack and other bags and Velcro zip ties. Here are some pics.
