Do you plan installing custom traction bars?, this will help eliminate any type of axle warp. I’m sorry if I missed this if asked earlier. It’s looking Awesome, love the frenched hangers in the bumper
Good question. Axle wrap and wheel hop we're certainly things that I thought about when deciding to go with the leaf spring setup. My current plan is to wheel it w/o a traction bar and if I get a lot of axle wrap, then I'll make one and install it.
Yes, Civil Engineering', not an engineer tho, been
here 25+ years, so I do more than the engr's, but
that's a hole other story... ... We have, depending
on how many inspectors we are running, 25-30
people here...
I am running a 21" wide screen LCD, so I just put
the demello porn cam screen up of to one side...
It works well... Plus I like country music, so I just
pump up the volumn when I can, a headset helps....
Very cool we only have 7 here at are shop and if you count the surveying side it would be 11. 21" wide screen would be nice I only have a 19 standard the widescreens are so nice have a 19" widescreen at home and it is so much better then the standard. I do head phones now a days the new guy is makes me go crazys so I just put the phones on and crank the music so I don't hear him. If I had to hear him all day I might go postal on him. then I would have to leave here and go get a job with you.
Edit so I am not all off topic:
axle rap no good, the deavers are great springs I think you will be fine with just them.

Reason: add some on topic
I'm enjoying this so much that just I have to say TANX to Sol for taking time to provide all of us with the excellent pics and documentation, and Jason for providing us with additional insight and visual access to his shop. Wish this was a TV Show.
IMHO SBECHTOLD and MISSFJ are making FJC HISTORY here, and both of their Threads should be STICKY's.
Today's update: First off, a big thanks to Jason for taking me with him to Donahoe Racing today. He had to pickup some stuff from Donahoe and while there we got the nickel tour. Pretty impressive facility to say the least. The Donahoe FJC Race truck and their F250 race trucks were both there and we got to check them out. Really cool! Thanks Jason! My camera was back at the DO shop, so no pics.
I drove 400 miles home today... Now I will have to live vicariously through the webcam, picture and phone updates from Jason. I will continue to post pics and information as Jason/Chris feed them to me. Jason was working on building the frame link brackets and links for the front when I left this morning. Next week he'll be working on the front 3-link setup.
Stopped by the shop today to pick up some stuff and took a closer look at both your truck and Air2airs. That axle is gorgeous!. Air2air's front bumper looks finished. Can't wait to see that on the rig either. SoCal has it going!

Me too! As I said in an earlier post, a M/C, Amex, Visa and Discover card should cover it. Plan on between $5-10k depending on what components you choose and how much of the work you do yourself.
