Very cool. The FJ looks like it's setup perfectly. That trail looks fun.

Re: sbechtold's Project FJ Cruiser SAS

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. Its feels really good (read: a great sense of accomplishment) to be at the point where I can actually wheel my FJC and it performs better than expected. This has been a long project, but well worth it.

There was one spot on the trail that is very tippy as you drop into a hole between two trees on the side of a steep cliff and have to turn uphill to clear the other tree. The tree behind the passenger rear wanted to eat my bumper. It sure would have been nice to have some steel plate back there. My sons comment as we were going through the obstacle was... "OK hold on hear we go, we're going over, this is it!" and at that point in time I had to agree with him. After clearing the obstacle and extracting the drive seat from my a$$ I told him..."that was easy."

Too sweet Sol. Too sweet.

I am very happy for you and have to agree. That is the cleanest SASED FJ on the planet.

I'm glad you like it, I really like it too. Wait till you do the con next year. It's nice to just bounce down the trail and not snag on everything underneeth your FJ.

Nice one Sol. Looks great on the trail. Looks like you're ready for some 37s too!
