Re: Dragon's Build (Taira)

Well since day one of the FJC's release it's been known that the rear lower control arms on the FJ are prone to bending in offroad situations, and are indeed, a weak link . Today I swapped mine out for the very beefy "Digger Links" made by Not-His-FJ . (AKA Chris and Charity, links made by Chris)

Here is the stock LCA
..........and a Digger link

......

The Digger link has a bit smaller diameter. So what's the difference?

.
.
.
.

1/4" Wall DOM tube

These babies are not going to bend

.

...and the upper links for the rear? Just sick when compared to the OEM toothpicks

The stock bushings are used in these.

Finished product

Thanks very much Chris, for making these and for helping out your fellow FJ'ers.

Re: Dragon's Build (Taira)

Those Digger links aren't going anywhere.

It's an important modification/addition to Taira -- especially when you consider the trails it will transit after the Summit!

Re: Dragon's Build (Taira)

Sometimes the beauty of the FJ is the rig itself;
but sometimes the beauty of the FJ is the experiences you find yourself in because of it.
