Re: Dragon's Build (Taira)

Hey Dragon, I was wondering how many miles you have on your Firestone's now and how much tread is left. I am having the same installed on Monday. Also, what psi do you run them at?

I have over 37,000 miles on them now and they are still very toothy. They still seem like new to me but in a side by side comparison with a new tire I'm sure there would be some wear. I'll bet it's not much, though.

I run them at about 36 psi on road and about 20 psi in the mud.
I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

That was my 15 minutes of fame

It's changed a bit since then already, and is about to change a bit more.

My Dakar bar has rusted through twice now, even after re grinding, welding, and painting. The steel is thin and it is a cheap product. For a while it was fine, but did not stand the test of time. I feel bad for others who have bought it based on my decision, but it is what it is.

This week = Custom Light Bar designed and fabricated by yours truly

How many of those light bars do you want to build, Bill?
