Great build, I love to see people making there own stuff for their rig. It really makes it an orginal. Great job, love the wheeling pics too.

Re: "Meet The Silver-Submarine (AKA ChiTownFJ's Buildup)"

So there are some updates coming... things to look forward to!

Doing a half cage, Replacing plastic fenders with steel that connects to the frame to keep trees at bay. It will look like a continuation of the sliders.

I also am going to LineX all of my visible trail armor. The Salt of the midwest has not been nice to it so I have to keep rust at bay!

Also, upping the audio anti with some real bass from 1200 watts of pure PG amplifier performance and a single 12" sub. Wicked CAS sub enclosure.

I love this truck!! but my wallet hates it!

Wow, never looked at your build up until today...Great pics of your progress. Love it.
Man, if those half cages look good, I may have to hire you. Linex is a good idea, I plan on LineX'ing my entire rig as soon as I have enough trail stripping. My wife has already given me the go ahead

Keep up the good work...

Wow, really cool.

I love your rig man.

Submarine huh - you're gonna need a snorkel, periscope and at least one torpedo tube...

Re: "Meet The Silver-Submarine (AKA ChiTownFJ's Buildup)"

I have to say I am sorry! I have been side lined as far as finishing some of these mods because my shop is not finished. Winter has lasted too long and the drive way has not been put in. Not that the FJ cares about a little mud, but the home owner does! Ill keep ya updated.
