1leglance's BlueJ by DirtyParts.com

Hey eveyone I have been way lazy and not posted about all excellent work done by cruiserlarry and all the guys at dirtyparts.com on my FJC.
I ordered the dual battery kit from Larry a ways back but then rather than screw it up myself I stated thinking...I want a setup like his...so with the FJ Summit that was pending at the time I figured what a great excuse to get LOTS of work done by a guy who could & would do top notch quality.
So what started as a dual battery kit ended up with:
Gobi Ranger roof rack with sunroof cutout
Gobi Tool/hi-lift mounts
Gobi Jerry can holders
Gobi Ladder (freeby from Larry for my 9yr olds sake)
12 lights (hey I still want more and brighter)
dual battery kit
aux fuse block
2 extra outlets in the back
Budbuilt skids
All pro shock & trailing arm skids
Rear diff guard welded by Larry
Lots of wires all done right
Warm Rear bumper
The coolest sunshade ever
and more I am sure I am forgetting

Sorry again it took so long to get a writeup and pics up but after leaving my FJC with Larry for a week in LA (it was tough flying back to Phx and no playing in the dirt)...then I took it to the FJ Summit, then 1 day at home and off to Peru.
At least I have had some time behind the wheel since the build and everybit of it that they worked on has been great. Night runs are a blast now and the fridge keeps drinks cold 24/7 even when it is 116 here.

Thanks again Larry & guys...
Everyone else look here for my website writeup with pics

Your rig is awesome! Is this shop located in Az? Did they do the installation?

Cheers,

Well done Lance, the beastie looks great and now I don't need a night light to read. It's gotta be brighter than Palo Verde nuke plant.....

Hey Speedy,
I live in Phx and dirtyparts.com is in the LA metro area..
so yeah I was crazy enough to drive to LA & fly home for a week then fly back to LA and drive to Phx..of course the nice thing was getting to hit some trails on the way back
I used the fact that Larry sells the Gobi rack for $200 less than factory direct so that paid for my flight. Gotta rationalize it somehow

Lance, did you ever receive the new sliders that you/we won at the raffle??

If so, have you installed them yet?

Hey Lance, your rig is awesome. I really didn't get to check it out real close at the Summit but it was cool. Maybe next time you might give me a ride?
