Last Dollar Road, Ouray County

Took a leisurely drive from Ouray to Telluride today via the Last Dollar Road which is a fairly well maintained county road. This is considered to be the easiest trails in the San Juan ranges but can get tricky if there has been some recent rain and the steep sections can get very slick.

Post Summit Kokopelli Trail

I tagged along for a few hours on the Kokopelli Trail with uphill and the gang on Sunday 20 July. (more here)

I didn't air down while running this section of the trail and the ride was not all that harsh now that I have the King air bumps installed.

I had a great time at the 2008 FJC Summit and the run on Saturday up to Black Bear Pass is a most memorable one. Here are a few photos of a very scenic rest stop along I70 on my way home.
