Wow Mike! sorry to see that you sold the Raptor. I wish you well in your next build. Please post it up here when you get it.
P.S. I hope you will still wear the T shirt from time to time!

Talked to my buddy. He said it's not too much trouble getting an "OO-NI Mog" (I guess that's how they pronounce it).
The problem will be if you want it to be street legal. You can import it as an offroad only vehicle with no problems. They'll load it up in a 20' container and ship it over.....
He would need to know if you want to fly out to Germany to look them over or if you just want him to pick one out....might be worth the cost of the flight for a nice one.
Anyway, if you want to make it street legal, you run into emissions and safety problems b/c it would be labeled a "grey market" vehicle.....meaning it doesn't meet US emissions or safety requirements.
That would be the biggest hurdle if you go this route. But that all depends on if you plan to make it a trailer queen or if you want it to be streetable.

Thanks Sean, I'll have to take some time and do some research on what all the costs are in making street legal. Look at the pro's and con's. Thanks for the info, I'll be intouch.

VW?....I don't think you know what I'm talking about. The UniMog is made by Mercedes-Benz. It's considered all over the World as the very best off road vehicle.

Actually it's a MB dumptruck, but that's beside the point.
Actually, they make close to a hundred different body and equipment styles for the UniMog, Snow Blowers, Sprayers, Dump Trucks, Farm Equipment, Highway Equiped, etc.
