Good to hear from you Heidi, and thank you for whispering these sweet nothings in my forum ears . I cannot plan that far ahead for Sedonafest II, but you can bet I will do all I can to get there, the first time was great.
I am starting to get used to the Sway-away suspension, but I still have to have the rear lifted (this coming weekend) before I can make final judgement. Currently, the front is lifted about 3" while the rear is not lifted at all, but by the end of the week, the rear will have a 2" lift, with the front possibly getting additional lift later (the front is adjustable of course).
I very highly recommend that you drive as many other FJs with different suspension setups before you make your decision on which suspension to get. While I am slowly warming up to my SAWs, I can tell you that the Donahoe setup rides extremely well and I fell in love with this suspension kit when I drove Ollie's Bug Eater. If I see you soon before your purchase your suspension kit, you'll be welcome to test drive my FJ.

Please say hello to Mr. R2FJ for me.
Cheers.
Thanks Kal, Josh says hello! Please keep us updated on your suspension review and thank you for the opportunity to let us test drive your FJ! Maybe if you can make it out to Sedonafest we can trade!
Sorry for not explaining this clearly enough. I never had the Donahoes, I only test drove a friend's FJ with the Donahoes and loved them. The first and only suspension I have had on my FJ has been the SAW.

Thanks Heidi, I hope to see you and Josh at Sedonafest or sooner.
Much appreciated Wesco. I am hoping I'll have a few minor upgrades to post next. I have installed the Hi-lift on home-made clamps, and I will be doing a little painting soon to finish up the cosmetic mods.
The next mod will be lights, both roof and bumper. It will take a while though, I need to save, somehow.

I have a pic of those mounts, kind of.
The FJ is looking great Kal you have done a great job on it so far.

It was good to see your rig in person this weekend. It is 100 times more bada$$ in person than it is in pics

These are very nice comments from two very cool FJers. I had the same feeling about your rigs when I saw them. I think one has to see a modded FJ in person to really appreciate its awesomeness (is this a word?).
More important for me, is to meet the personalities behind the mods. I always get a kick out of talking to FJers and learning why they did this or that, and what they think looks "rad" or "bad".
Arien and Josh, Thank you very much for your positive comments, they are truly appreciated. I am looking forward to wheeling with you guys some day soon I hope.
