Komombo's Sandstorm

Here they are finally, the pics for my modded FJC.
I have added stock roof rack, passenger armrest, rear door cargo net, and trailer hitch (in my garage, needs install)-nothing exciting here.

First wave of mods: Procomp 285/70R17 on Gear Alloy rims (717MB); Sway-away 2.5" lift front coilovers and 2.0" lift rear shocks.

On order: Demello front bumper w/ center hoop and rock sliders (next week or two they say).

Wish list: light bar on roof (a la All-Pro style).

Interesting you think so Christianmotox. I myself felt I was not quick enough, that's how excited I was. Thank God I have saved up the money ahead of time so I can move relatively fast .

Agreed. I also will be adding some red accents here and there, and I think the combination of black, tan, and red will make this rig look just the way I want it

Thank you both for your kind words!!

Very nice! You are fast. So many mods already. I like the blackened bezel and mirrors as well. Did you have a hard time deciding between black or white?

As soon as I saw an SS in real life, I almost immediately envisioned the mods, thanks entirely to the photos, posts, and ideas I saw on this very forum!

Thank you Fjamming. For some reason, I did not have any doubts about the black on Sandstorm color scheme. I like contrasts, so for example, I think the white bezel looks beautiful on a Black Cherry, better than black; but because Sandstorm is a lighter color, I think black looks better. Sunfusions, Titaniums, and Diamonds can go either white or black, and if I had one of those colors, I'd be all confused to heck.

Very cool Komombo. Time to hit Otay again. I might be heading up there Friday afternoon.
