Re: Jeshua's FJ Build up

Well how do you like the Donahoe racing coil over suspension? I don’t know which kit to buy. Donahoe or All Pro with the Fox. Thanks for the help

I love the DR set up with Chubby's it rides very nice on and off road. I beat the crap out of my rig off road and there holding up great. In the fast stuff I have good control and movement over the whoops and through the washes and in the rocks they keep me level and flat (as much as we can in the IFS) and have had no problems with them.

There both good kits but i prefer the DR/Icon VD set up especially with word that a new rear 2.5 shock is in the works. Ether set will be a good improvement. Give DeMello a call and he will get you all set up.

yes and no, the screen I have is just to big. and a 7" wide screen isn't any better. To get my screen to fit in the dash I would have to move the AC controls and I really don't want to do that. The new idea is to mount it in place of the rear view mirror. i will have a great view of it easy to reach and no sun light issues with it up that high. The only draw back is the high viability of it from the out side.

What screen are you using for your system, size and res.? I am guessing its the one from that site you linked. Thanks for the links though I will take a closer look at that guys site tomorrow.
Yeah, it's a Xenarc 705TSV. 7 inch widescreen, 800x480 res. NOT sunlight readable. It's a bummer, but I'll be able to work around that.

Good luck if you decide to do something.

Very cool. The sun light might be a tough one for you in the FJ . Make sure to keep us updated on it with lots of pictures.

Re: Jeshua's FJ Build up

Re: Jeshua's FJ Build up

thanks Ollie! It rides way better to, but I can't wait till Icon VD get a bigger better rear shock to replace the old one with.

Any idea when A4x4 pics will be back? or do I need to get a new host site like you did?

I don't have that answer for you buddy... I'd consider another host site if I were you.

Not looking forward to that but I guess I have to. Who do you recommend?
