When ever you want to come up this way, I'm missing a lot of stuff for the kitchen so you might want to hold off just a bit though. Plus I am hoping I can get the hot water heater working tonight so I don't have to take a cold shower in the morning.
Did you call the gas company to turn the gas on?? Hot water heater and stove both not working?? could be while! at least its still hot out for a cool refreshing shower!!! Nice place! and truck too!

Thanks.
No gas company, its on "propane and propane accessory's"
the tank(s) had been empty for a long time so I think I just need to kind of bleed the system like I would the brakes on my truck. I will give it another try tonight when I get home and if that doesn't work I will call someone to fix it.

Glad you like my drawers. The only ones that I know of that you can buy are the Tuffy ones. As far as custom orders. I could make them but my wood working skills aren't top notch. I do know that Gon2srf had Eric (forgot his screen name) build him a set. Scott you want to post your pics up in here?
If the drawers had to be mailed it would be pricey since there heavy and big. I would encourage you to find some one local that can work with wood and make you a set. Its pretty easy and if you have the tools I would say try to build it yourself. I use like a sheet and a half of 3/4" birch plywood, box of screws, piano hinge, two latches and a couple sets of slids. I think I spent around $120 for everything.
Somehow that doesn't sound right at all, but I guess I set myself up with that one. Wait! I did say CARGO drawers...whew!
OK I see now... I didn't even notice you made them from birch. I guess I just had metal in mind like the Tuffy, but on second thought there is no need for them to be metal and heavy. If I can find free time I just might try to build a set.

My buddy made a set out of metal for his 4 runner and his is WAY lighter then mine. He used I think 1/2" square tubing for the frame and used 5/8" or 3/4" MDF for the top and drawers. After seeing his I was real close to tossing my wood ones and making a set in metal.

Yes I was, and I have to say I think that my legs were never more tired then after that run, talk about shakey legs.
I'm really glad I taped it from inside so people can get a better idea what its like going up it.

quick question, Im coming from a sports car background where the tip or toe of your foot is on the brake and the heel is used to blip the throttle during a downshift.
When your taking on an obstacle such as this do you prefer to use the toe of your foot on the gas and the heel on the brake? Or do you use the heel of your foot on the brake and the heel of your foot on the gas?? Not sure if one way is more preferred or not.

I actually am weird and do a kind of half half job, but its closest to the toe being on the gas and the heal on the brake. Really its what ever way you are more comfortable with and what gives you the most control, of course how the pedals are laid out in the vehicle will effect this like you know I'm sure.
