Re: Mr & Miss R2fj Build Thread

I absolutely have no problem with following the "rules". If it needs to be changed, thats fine. The issue I have is the fact that it was changed without so much as a notice in this thread or via PM. Never was I asked, "hey we need to change the name of your thread, do you have a preference or can we change it to this?".....nor was I ever PM'd saying "hey we had to change the title of your thread. If you would like something else let us know". It was just done, and thats my issue.

Both the MR and I have experience running and moderating various forums in the past and never would I go in and change anything in anyones thread, even if it was offensive, without so much as a PM notifying them why and what their options are. Its just bad forum etiquette if you ask me.

Re: Mr & Miss R2fj Build Thread

Thanks me too. I wasn't so hot on them at first when the MR showed them to me, I was really set on the chambers....but these have really grown on me and I can't imagine having anything else on there.

Re: Mr & Miss R2fj Build Thread

R2FJ,

What ever the name is, it was still some great idea's and pics thanks. Also my middle son is a big Star Wars fan also, he is always wanting to watch my collection of Star Wars movies and he is an action figure maniac. Where did you get some of yours that you have shown pics of as it would be good to get him some. Kind of like holding it over his head as an award for good behavior and grades. Sorry can't help being a Dad.

Re: Mr & Miss R2fj Build Thread

honestly ebay is the best place for any of that stuff. The first one that Miss shows a picture of is a limited edition piece by gentle giant. Here's an example:
Gentle Giant Yoda R2D2 Animated Maquette R2D2 - eBay (item 330192752814 end time Jan-24-08 14:16:52 PST)

These pieces are more works of art than action figures though, hence the real high price. However, you can find LOTS of figures on ebay. From super rare (super expensive) to very inexpensive lots of 10-20 figures.

One of the fun action figures out right now is the comic packs. They are figures from the comic books and includes a star wars comic in each pack. Target/your favorite toy store should carry these on the shelf.
Star Wars Comic Book Pack Quinlan Vos & Vilmarh Grahrk - eBay (item 110187973634 end time Jan-30-08 19:18:17 PST)

Goodluck.
