That's the shocks. You can get heavier springs.
Yes this I understand, the only reason I mentioned the shocks was because you mentioned "firming up the ride" when you need it with your adjustable WE setup. I'm not sure what that has to do with carrying more weight? I know I can get heavier springs I'm just wondering what might be a good combination with the all-pro fox setup.

For some reason my communication isn't coming through clearly so I'll try again.

I'm planning on the full fox setup from all-pro. 2.0" diameter so I can get compression adjustable front and rear shocks with the 2" lift rear all-pro branded springs. My concern here is that we like to carry a LOT of weight in the rear. 4 full scepter cans, maybe a AUX gas tank if MAF ever produces it, heavy fridge, recovery gear, etc.. It really sags the stock suspension. I'm concern that the rear all-pro springs provided may not be a good spring rate for the weight we like to carry in the rear. I know you can adjust the preload in the front because coilovers allow you to do this, but it's the rear I'm a but concerned about.

Most likely I'll just use whatever they send me and if I need more step it up to a stiffer spring. I was just trying to avoid the trial and error method if someone had a good suggestion. All-pro has not been much help when I call them. Their webpage says "15% stiffer than stock" for the rear spring, but the person I spoke to said it was rated to carry the same weight as stock.

Re: Mr & Miss R2fj Build Thread

I'd love to know the springs rates of the OME heavy VS what all-pro provides as well as the lift over stock on both.

Re: Mr & Miss R2fj Build Thread

Rear Spring rates

Unfortuantely there is no Fox in this, but maybe if you bug Jeshua he'll do some research! Have you looked at MIR207, he has some serious weight and runs the Heavy OME. As far as lift, I wouldn't worry about height/leveling...just look at kurt's rig. I'm sure the OME heavy will be a different type of ride, but with your off road styles it seems the perfect match!

Re: Mr & Miss R2fj Build Thread

Our latest update:

As you have all seen by the drama of our install, here is our new suspension installed correctly! FOX Racing Shox 2.0" Adjustable Front coil-overs, and Fox rear piggy-back, including Camburg UCA's and replacement with steel break lines.

My latest project was creating some rear storage for us, so I built this shelf and coated it with the Duplicolor Roll-On Bed Liner from Auto Zone.

After our Coleman Powerchill zapped out on its second voyage, we returned it and decided to just put the money down on an Engel 45.

I've made some changes to the M-Pac system as well, will post up new pics when that gets completed. We also have a couple of projects sitting in the garage that we are way to lazy to work on at this moment, but hopefully we will get to them soon!

I've been watching your build-up develop and take shape.

R2FJ? Not Really IMO - transforming into all the comforts and power of an Imperial Star Cruiser.
