I have completed the mods I wanted to do on my 2007 FJ since the day I got it. I did as much of it as I felt comfortable by myself, and then what I didn't feel comfortable with I had a shop handle for me.
What I did myself:
1. Installed ARB rock rail/skid plates onto the vehicle. This was a fairily straight forward install. The vehicle did not come with any rails or steps, so there was nothing to remove. I had read in another post on this site to take one of the bolts that holds the rails to the frame of the FJ, and thread in all the way in and then remove it from all 8 connection points on each side to help remove any gunk that might present. This was a great suggestion as it made hand treading the bolts while installing the rock rail much easier. The ARB skid plates for the rock rails were very easy to install. It took about an hour to install the rock rails by myself, and then about 30 minutes to install the skid plates.
2. Removed the Toyota silver bling skid plate and all other so called skid plates, along with the plastic gas tank skid the the vehicle came with. I ordered the 5 piece skid plate set from Bud Built and I had them powdercoat them black. This was simple and straight forward install. Bud makes a great product, and there were no issues with the installation. It took me about 3-4 hours by myself to do the install. I used a 2 ton floor jack to hold the skids in place while I theaded the bolts.
What I had a shop do:
I had Performance Off Road Center in Cumming Georgia install my ARB Bull Bar, IPF Lights, Warn M8000 winch and the OME suspension. They are just north of Atlanta, and I knew I was going to be there for the Christmas holiday, so I pre-ordered the parts and I had them do the install while I was in town. They did a great job, and I would recommend them if you are in the Atlanta area and are looking for some help with your FJ. They were very fair on their prices, and matched what I was finding online that was cheaper then what they sold it for. Just ask for Justin.
I had OME 886 springs put on the front along with N140 struts. On the back I left the factory springs and put N141 shocks on in place of the factory shocks. The front end sat just a bit higher when I picked it up. I am sure that after a few thousand miles it will settle in and end up sitting level, or close enough to my liking.
I think I am done for now with mods, but give me time and I am sure I will find something else to spend more money on.

Thanks all. I am now thinking I will go ahead and add the TRD exhaust and the TRD Cold Air Intake system next.
I knew you'd weaken as soon as I saw the cool things you did to your rig and announced that you were "done" with mods.
Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt -- it's tough to walk away and say, "Not another mod" once you've started doing interesting things to the FJ.
I like the ARB and the other things you've done to your rig. Keep us posted and MORE PICTS!
