The NOMAD (Sandstomer's build)

The NOMAD is my Nomadic Offroad Machine of the American Desert.
[Note: I'm a software engineer and recursive acronyms don't bother us nearly as much as they do the linguists.]

Moving around a lot, but living much of my life in the various deserts of the southwest and currently residing in Las Vegas within the Mojave Desert, I think it works well. Many of the mods and much of the gear on this rig will be tailored for desert expeditions as I can't remember the last time I saw a mud bog, and only rarely venture into the snow.
