I kinda like the look of the FJ without the tire on the back. It really cleans up the rear end. How hard was it to take off? Is it something that can be taken off and put back on?

It's just four bolts I think.

Thanks guys, it easy to remove the spare tire and it looks ok without anything there. But i think it would look awesome if you can put some sort of black decal back there

I debated on removing my rear tire & mount but don't like the open holes left behind for New England winter weather. Maybe I'll do it this summer.

Well yeah, that worried me at first,so i put the bolts back in there after i painted them white rather than it original silver. And for the lower ones i just added small circular tape.
