Re: Fjamming's "Genie"

3/15, we hit the trails for a flower photo trip in Anza Borrego. Thanks to FJDave for organization and Kokopelli for trail blazing. The flowers did not disappoint and the scenery was beyond my expectations. I wish I had more time to explore! Most of the flower pictures were taken on Henderson Road and Coyote Canyon. The weather was perfect for the shoot. Later that day we ran into rain and even snow. It was a great trip for the entire family. Most of the trip in AB was dirt trail. As you get in deeper into Coyote Canyon, you'll have some water crossings. The highlight is the rock garden. It's a moderate challenge that require some spotting. I'll be back again and the next time, I want to explore further out.

Here are some pics.

Thanks to those that took pictures of me at the rock garden. I was a bit...preoccupied.

Here's a video that Kokopelli took. [YOUTUBE]

Here it is: http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...h-28-30th.html

There will be a mix of trails so it wouldn't be all hard metal scraping. Should be a lot of fun.
hey Tony, when you do plan on heading out to Johnson Valley, and are you doing the day thing, or camping overnight?

I'm tempted to go for 2 days. My parents has a place in Victorville which is about an hour away. I'm not sure if I should camp or drive to their house. It's empty at the moment. Interested in going up together? I'll know by the end of this week.

Thank you.
If I go, it would be Sat morning/early afternoon. I've got this dinner thing that I can't miss. With the long drive out and back, it might not even be worth it.

Sure thing. I'm really excited about going. I just need to find out some logistics.
