Yuppers. All Pro is sending me replacement shocks while I send them my Walker Evans :bigthumbs:. They should be coming out soon. I hope to have them swapped by Christmas Party! I really appreciate the effort they have put forth to minimize my downtime.
Mike, I have the coordinates and do remember how to get there. There's a bunch of other trails there. It would be fun to explore those too. It's just a big playground! We should get back out there soon, but will definitely need to keep the group kind of small and have a minimum tech requirement. Spotting is required in many places and there's no way to get through in any reasonable amount of time if you don't have locker(s) lifts, tires, and skids. You WILL use them.
yea walker evans is awesome, i just stopped by today to get my shocks rebuilt, they are hard to find, there is not even a sign on the building just a bright voodoo blue door, lemme know if youre doing the install, i was planning on doing mine friday picking them up thursday

I will be doing an install as soon as they get here. Jon said they'd ship them out today so maybe I'll get them tomorrow! The rears are super easy to do. The front takes significantly more work.

MudlovingFJ and Thugasaur helped with the front install last time. Mud is very skilled and made short work of what needed to be done. You took your shocks directly to Walker Evans?

Thursday night, with Mikescruiser's help, we put some LED rock lights on the FJ. They are 1 watt each and I put 7 of them on the vehicle. 2 for the front, 2 for the middle, and 2 for the rear wheels. I put one light under the hood and it it's great in lighting that area up. 1 watt may not seem like much, but it throws out enough light to illuminate without blinding you. It's sort of diffused so it has decent coverage. Here are a couple of shots.
Sorry for the blurry pics. Camera money went into mod money . The light plug into a Distribution block and that is then connected to a master controller. It also comes with a remote. The master control has options for strobe and different flash patterns. I just keep it at constant.

Currently it's still hooked up to the 12V cig lighter. I'll connect it to the fuse panel once I get the fuse connector. I don't plan on using the remote, but it's nice to have. It was very simple to install as the lights are very light and you can easily keep them in place with zip ties and tape. I use emblem tape and they are not going anywhere.
Highly recommended.
