After 3 months of searching and waiting, I've finally found and installed the new fairlead. I've installed the T-Max EW-9000 Competition winch with the assistance of Mikescruiser a while back. It required drilling 8 new holes in the All Pro bumper to get it to fit . I chose this winch because it's very light (~60lbs) and got a great deal through 4Wheelparts. It normally retails for $800-1100, but I got it for $375. Since the winch didn't come with a fairlead, I had to find one. It's a short drum competition winch so a normal fairlead will not mate well. If I were to get a normal short drum fairlead, the mounting points will not bolt on. So what I needed was a 10" standard width fairlead with a smaller 6" opening. Warn has one for $150. Superwinch had just came out with their comp winch, but the fairlead wasn't for sale at the time I needed it. After trying to find custom fabs to no avail (too expensive), I finally was able to talk to Superwinch and they did sell a fairlead to me for $75. That's 1/2 the price of the Warn unit...
So yes, finally, I'm winch prepared again!
The color match was gravy

That could be fun. I regretted not pushing harder to make it up the middle line on the first climb. It's doable if I had been more willing to get really close to the sides. Next time if we go in a smaller group, I'm going to try it again. I almost made it last time. Kudos to Plnfixr420 for making it in his RC lift. The inclinometer was past 30 vertical and it felt tippy. I was a little leery bouncing up and down at the last part of the climb.
Are you thinking of a night run?

I've had a 10lb Powertank for the last 2 years or so. It's been great as it has never froze and cease to operate. There was however a couple of issues with the inflator gauge. 2 tiny screws holds on to the housing of the gauge. Over time, they worked loose and the face will spin freely rendering the gauge useless. All that means is that I have to rely on a separate tire gauge. Inconvenient, but not something I'd really complain about. I tried thread locks before and it lasted a bit longer. If I had added a bit more, it'll probably be ok.
Anyway, I was talking to Steve Sasaki of Powertank about CO2 tanks and the possibility of a quick conversion so it can also be used as fire extinguisher when the topic of the gauge was mentioned. He suggested thread locks or even superglue and I told him that I've already tried thread locks. He promptly told me to just give him my address and he would ship me another one. I received the other one two days later. How great is that?!!!
Over the course of the FJ ownership, I've came in contact with more vendor then any other vehicle that I've ever own before. Each experience is unique and it really does cover the bad to the very best. I've had several dealing with Powertank and their customer service, along with excellent products, really made them stand out as being one of the best companies to deal with.
