FJC in Germany

Well new to the Game. Been doing alot of reading on the website. So here is my Stock for now FJ. I have alot of Parts for MODs but waiting on some better weather here in Germany. Here is the FJ in the ALPs first trip with her and she handled the Autobahn like a champ.

here is the AFe Cold Air Intake and the Oil stuff I know nice name drop

Added the roof rack this weekend but do to the size of the roof rack I had to have it cut in half before it was shipped to Germany. Added some German PVC for support

Voodoo Blue, MT, only the convenience package, but this was the only way I can get American spec in Germany. But that is what I wanted so it worked out. Cold air intake, all fluids changed to royal purple, trans, front and rear end and engine oil.

once I get the Mods going I will post more pics and you can see the ideas I barrowed sorry for the big pics still new. Fixed the pics

UPDATE: I have a brush guard for trail riding, roof rack, Light bar for roof, Shadows scuba gear, Swiss's idea for overhead consle but with Silverado map lights, Side sun visors, all parts on hand just need to install

Re: FJC in Germany

Thanks guys, the FJ is deffinetly far and few between here. But I had to have one. I have had it since Nov 07 but I only have 2650 miles on her due to military duties and the small streets and parking areas.

Re: FJC in Germany

Hallo!! I am moving to Germany for 2 years (non military) this June... do you have any info you could direct me to, in terms of what are the allowed American specs? My husband's company is handling the move, including paying to ship my FJ, but I'm not sure they are handling the car specs dept...

danke! very nice photos!

Hello, I talked to you on your move to Germany Post. Everything with the FJ should be good, I know you will need a rear Fog light but that is really to only major thing I can think off as far as passing the Germany TUV (inspection). The dealership will work on it but getting parts takes awhile, took 6 weeks for a new wind shield. So bring oil filters and air filters. As much as I hate to say it Hummer is popular here as well as the PT snoozer so I don't think you will have any trouble but my Wife is a German National and in Law school so I will see if she can get some info for you

Ah yes, I knew I recognized your name! thank you!! So it sounds like the dealership over there will take care of any changes needed? I too have the MT with convenience packages (and side air bags). And I plan on bringing the filters. thanks for any info you can provide! We are going to negotiate a larger container, so that we can bring our Prius too. I am going to get a rack set up on it so that we can put my THule box on the Prius and take IT on road trips when we want to save on gas money!!
