Re: Cruzer! new fjc - Casper the TT!!!

this week we installed a revised prototype kaymar rear bar/wheel/fuel can carrier, and it fits sweet, so they should be ready for production shortly. Also installed a set of OME springs front and rear! And it looks sweet, really happy with it. We tagged along with the N217 crew after yesterdays meet and greet, and for only running stock tyres i was really happy with how it went, at least it made it till the end!!

Heres a pic from yesterday, showing how it loks now, My friedn has some action shots, ill update as soon as i get some!

Re: Cruzer! new fjc - Casper the TT!!!

Quick update, now i have 7500miles on the clock... i removed both front bumper wings, and fitted our Man-A-Fre skid plates, and sliders, and borrowed a set of 33x13.5R17 pit bulls for the weekend...
put a few more trips under caspers belt, trail maintainance at portero seco with the rangers office, and a couple of trips to BC109. I was going to go to Miller Jeep trail on sunday but we ended up sidetracked in a 6 mile boulder wash that took 8 and a bit hours of our time - lots of fun, reminded me how much i enjoyed rock crawling - and how important armour was to something like an FJ cruiser in these situations... got some massive gashes in my sliders, skid plates, and hit my rear shock lower bolt fairly hard, as well as my diff drain plug guard and my rear bar, all in a days work..

unfortunatly kind of hard to get action pics with only a two car convoy, but heres a couple!

we played in rocks

we played in mud

we even slid into a tree up a hill, it was clay! (no real panel damge, yay for sliders)
