That quicksteel did the trick, he had his brakes. Not sure why he didn't have confidence in using them.

The rear bumper is a Kaymar - not yet available or with pricing but it will be soon, exclusive to Man-A-Fre here is a link to the write up by Bob who has had one of the earlier versions on his truck for some time now, and if you go the last post there is some photos of mine as well...

That really sux, it was a nice zook - mind you the thing i did love about the sammys i owned was everything unbolts, and you just bolt new panels on! It'll be on the road in no time... right?

Just a few pictures of the (poorly) fitted rear diff skid... even after bending the front u bolts out it still needs some mods to make it clear the emotor skid.. oh well... it still works




and MAF new shock eye protectors...

Congratulations getting the diff skid to work! Yeah, that looked *way* off when we were spot checking it a few weeks ago.

Been a quiet month trail wise, not enoguh cash flow at the moment, however i did do a few cheaper mods - installed a safari snorkle, dual battery system, new compressor under the hood, rear LCA's (uppers to come shortly) and some extended brake lines for the rear. Working on some rocklights now, ill put pics up soon!

so Casper is now 5months old, and just clicked over the 15000mile mark, and is doing great

man being away from any real internet access sux! Lastmonth we did Big Bear (JB, Jacoby, Gold Mtn,Deep Creek and Holcomb) and the miller Jeep Trail. Apart from coming down hard on a rock on the MJT and messing up my alignment real bad - no other damage to report- except for some door dings courtesy of a silverado at the do it center!!

Ive swapped mysprings out from OME light/Medium COmbo to a heavy/heavy combo and removed the rear sway bar - i love my current set up - still flexes good and maintains its height even when loaded with all my heavy stuff on a trip!
