To paint the front emblem I went to a local automotive store and bought a high gloss automotive spray paint. Then basically i put taped up behind the grill and emblem. Make sure you clean the emblem getting all dirt off. I then used a piece of paper to make sort of a template of the Toyota emblem. I then cut out the emblem on the piece of paper taped it on to the grill and spray painted the emblem. You have to remember not to spray to much at one time. It is better to spray too little and do alot of coats then to do one coat and spray too much on only one coat.

I also took everything off except the TT logo. There are many ways of doing it. What I did is I took a hairdryer and heated up the emblem that i was taking off. I then used a piece of floss to get under the badge. I proceed to take the rest of the badge off with my hand making sure that i got ass much adhesive off as possible. It is almost impossible to get all the adhesive off. So then, one the plastic is off, I once again heated up the adhesive again. After that with my finger I tried to get as much off as possible. What ever i could get off with my finger is used Goof Off on. The thing with Goof Off is it is very powerful, so I used as little is possible and as soon I stopped using it I cleaned that area with soap and water. Then after that process i waxed the back of the car.

Hopefully that answers everything

Re: BocaChaser's Trail Team Build

I want a TT! At first I didn't think I would like that all white so much, but now I really really love it, especially with all that black. Looks great!

Re: BocaChaser's Trail Team Build

That does help. I may give this a try this weekend. How long did you have to heat the emblem before you used the floss?
