Not the greatest build yet so far. But here it is. More pics to be added as time goes by.
After many years of great use. It was time to put the old storm chase vehicle to rest. The old Toyota 4X4 xtra cab pickup had seen it's days. Here in Central Kansas. Shortly after getting the new FJ a few things had to begin to be added.
Had all the factory "goodies" installed ahead of time as far as option packages goes.
TRD exhaust and K&N intake. Then a set of Toyo Open Country MT 265/70/R17 tires were in order. Before the first trip to Colorado last year.
Added a TomTom 520 then changed to a 720 this year. Modified the front cup holder to hold the base and make it removable to still use it if needed.
With a little help from a friend and the bro. Got the Warn front bumper and Powerplant HD winch installed over the last couple of days. (lousy weather to try it in one day)
A couple of before and after pics.
After the fun taking the front end off part.

After getting the bumper installed.

A couple of bruises trying to reach the bolts and a fat lip laying underneath and a wrench slip. The results for now.
After winch install.

Another shot showing some of the graphics I made up on the vinyl cutter.

Have the OME heavy springs and shocks ready to go on. As soon as I either decide to have them put on. Or go the do it myself route again.
Next up to come either before or after the next trip to Colorado are the rear bumper and some sliders for now.
I like the stereo the way it is for now, buuuuuut. Since I'm used to 2,000 watts of home stereo beating on me in the house. May be upgrading that as well.
As it sit's that's what I have for now. More additions later of course. I just don't know what they are.
