did you black out the bezel, mirrors, handles?
Yes. I did the blackout about a month ago, but since my garage ornament hasn't rolled in a while I haven't taken any pics of the finished product. Once I get everything installed and rolling I post up a few completed pics.

Re: Project SAC'D FJC - Phase II

It's alive again! I rolled my FJC out of the garage today. I still have a bunch of misc stuff to finish before it's drivable, but man it feels good to have this thing rolling again.

9.5" Land Cruiser third based Diamond axle:

I didn't think it was possible, but it's even taller:

How tall is your freakin garage! My little 3in lift barely fits in mine. That thing looks awesome by the way.

Re: Project SAC'D FJC - Phase II

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! Hopefully next weekend I can finish up the rest of the little stuff and make it mall worthy.

That makes two of us! This is the first time I've seen the blackout outside of the garage. I didn't install the rear plastic bumper and I think I will drive around w/o the bumper (in protest) until I get a new one.

Standard 7' door. I pulled the valve stems and let the times go completely flat, then drove it out. Then aired up, it worked like a charm. I had about an inch to spare.

I'd wait and put this rear bumper on if I were you.

Hopefully, these will be ready by April 20.
