Re: Easelman's Black H.D. Machine
Here is the start to upgrading my interior:
More than anything I want it to look/feel stock even if it isnt. I'm not into hanging CB wires or amps screwed to the back of seats.
Phase I:
-Take the interior apart (Headliner, rear panels, rubber floor)
-Stealth install an Amp - 2 channel Zapco I-2100 for the fronts
-Dynamat/Duraliner the interior
Phase 2:
-Install two speaakers in the rear by replacing the headliner speaker wires and running them along the roof
-Install a sub and second amp
-Custom fiberglass the rear panels in the cargo area to look stock
In pic 1, you can see in the center is a large open area where some have put speakers before. Its 7.5" deep in that area so you could put a lot there if you wanted to work with the cover plastic, up to an 8" sub if you wanted. I'll probably put in a 6.5 or 5".
I also didn't see any write up for taking the headlinger down. I have a ton of pics of whats behind it, including the two tiny speakers.
