Re: Easelman's Black H.D. Machine

Here is the start to upgrading my interior:

More than anything I want it to look/feel stock even if it isnt. I'm not into hanging CB wires or amps screwed to the back of seats.

Phase I:
-Take the interior apart (Headliner, rear panels, rubber floor)
-Stealth install an Amp - 2 channel Zapco I-2100 for the fronts
-Dynamat/Duraliner the interior

Phase 2:
-Install two speaakers in the rear by replacing the headliner speaker wires and running them along the roof
-Install a sub and second amp
-Custom fiberglass the rear panels in the cargo area to look stock

In pic 1, you can see in the center is a large open area where some have put speakers before. Its 7.5" deep in that area so you could put a lot there if you wanted to work with the cover plastic, up to an 8" sub if you wanted. I'll probably put in a 6.5 or 5".

I also didn't see any write up for taking the headlinger down. I have a ton of pics of whats behind it, including the two tiny speakers.

I'd love to see the rest of the pics from this project. Please keep us posted on the progress. Nice work!

Re: Easelman's Black H.D. Machine

A different kind of box

Here is pics of the final box fiberglassed.

As soon as I clean the garage ill start on the second side with the subwoofer but I'm starting to get that look from the wife like.. Do you really need to spend all that time working on it?
