Digger422's DangerBuggy

I picked up my '08 Sandstorm on Jan. 28, 2008 just after I went to the doctor for a pre-surgery consult. It was the only 6MT on the whole lot and I wasn't exactly thrilled with the Sandstorm paint. I decided that I could live with the paint more than I could live with the auto transmission and the 17" rims. So, after much haggling and tooth pulling, I signed the paperwork and took the salesman to our house to pick up my trade-in. It has been all downhill since - but in a good way.

Bone Stock:

Added Offroad Lights to Front Bumper and Blacked Out Front Bumper Wings:

Added Homegrown Hi-Lift Rack Mount - FJinDFW's design:

Blacked Out the Rear Bumper & Completed the Front Bumper Blackout:

Installed Under Hood Trouble Lights:

Installed Blacked out Bling Plate:

Installed OME 3" (Heavy) Lift:

Pics After the "TEST RUN":

My 3 year old Co-pilot & Crew Chief, Sean:

I will update as I get new mods!!

Re: Digger422's DangerBuggy

Aw man I was hoping to see another thread like BellyDoc's build thread with an actual buggy. Where is the buggy in this thread?

Re: Digger422's DangerBuggy

Here are a few more pics of the Mods I have done to the DangerBuggy. I think I have done just about all the cosmetic mods I can do without repainting the whole thing. I had mentioned having the whole thing done in Sandstorm color matched Rhino Liner, she asked me if I had gone off my meds. Anyhow, here are the new pics. Enjoy!!

TRD shift knob

Note: I repainted the white shift pattern to black.

Daytime Running Light Kill Switch

Console LED Lights

Blacked out Emblems

Blacked out Center Caps

Black Reflective Vinyl on the Door Sills - Better night time visibility.

Up next will probably be Scan Gauge II, Safari Snorkel & GoLight 2021 - Fixed Mount Spot / Search Light

Looks great. What did you use to paint the wings and grill?

Re: Digger422's DangerBuggy

How does the black vinyl on the door seal offer better night time visibility?
