Safari 1 buildup!!

Just started but finally got the lift and tires. Notice the bottom left of the pic of my buddy Troy installing on the front driver's side. That's why it took 4 1/2 hours to install the front!!!! We had fun though!!!!

Toytec 3" lift,
885 & 895 springs w/ 1 inch front spacer.
295/70/17 Toyo Open Country M/T's x5
Replacement Kicker Comp Sub in the Sub Box
Ipod 80GB
TomTom GPS
Tinted windows

Re: Safari 1 buildup!!

Really nice rig!!! Great choice of tire as well! Did you replace the existing speaker in the stock sub box with a kicker??

Re: Safari 1 buildup!!

I did replace the sub in the stock box, wasn't quite a perfect fit but made it work. To be honest it sounds alittle different but not anything impressive. Needs a new amp, but just spent quite a bit of money on tires and lift so it will be a while. LOL!!!

Re: Safari 1 buildup!!

Thanks for the complements. Need to do the body mount chop. Doesn't rub now but it will if the wheels are cut all the way to one side or the other and the suspension is pushed up.

Re: Safari 1 buildup!!

Great looking ride!
Thanks for the confirming pictures.
It looks like everything I want to do.

One question though, how does it ride on the interstate (around 70 to 75 mph)
Just curious because I do a lot of highway driving.

Thanks in advance!
