Just needs rims and im allmost there,Its got an all in one radio,Chrome gallore,
Only thing I dont understand is when people see my FJ they get a frown on there face,I think it looks nice?

I know what you mean,It looks like the buttler left a tea server on my hood,But Im going to install the hood reverse brackets so I made the vandle handles functional so you can open the hood with them.

I don't like the chrome, but it's all about what makes you happy.

To Each His Own. Frowns from FJ Owners? Well I personally hate the new luxury hummers and that hood thingy reminds me of one so thats why you may get a frown outta me but other than that nice ride wish I could of gone with that same headunit.

You have a wannabe hummer accessory on your FJ. This maybe the reason for the frowns.

Other than that object, i think it looks good. In general, you won't find too many FJ owners that like chrome. Go to any hummer website and you will find TONS of people that love chrome. Trust me, i just joined one in hopes of finding some guys to come out wheeling with us. No such luck.

If the FJ is how you want it, then don't let the frowns bother you. I don't care if others think my FJ is a wannabe/mini hummer, or can't keep up with a jeep (it can keep up with even comparably modded jeeps, it's all i wheel with). It fits my needs and i like how it looks.
If others like how it looks, that is cool, but that is not why i bought the vehicle.

it's your FJ, do with it what you will... I don't like shine, so mine's not shiny... but yours can be whatever you want it to be. Good luck...

As long as YOU like it, WTF, it's your truck. Opinions are like A-holes, almost everyone has one, including me LOL! I'm with everyone else-lose the hood griddle and you'll lose the frowns! Tim

I 100% agree that you do what you like. Its ok to take things off or add things on after changing your mind but try out anything and ride around in something you think looks nice.

We certainly dont want all FJ's looking the same.

Never was a fan of plastic chrome...
Could have put that cash into some better tires...
I guess if I saw you on the road I would laugh a bit (that hood thing man, why?). Sorry, but it is the truth.

Hey, bottom line is that it is yours, so I am happy you are happy. What I think about the "Bling FJ" should not matter to ya.

Still think it is funny looking though...
