Great write-up Jonnie, I really like the way you organized it and of course you take amazing pictures! I may have to re-do the R2 thread after it gets completed......

Not only has Jonnie built one bad-ass TRD, but he is a great advocate for the outdoors and taking care of them, not trashing them....this man carried home a dirty, smelly diaper (amongst other trash) that was left behind at our campsite by previous people the last time we went camping with him! Now that takes guts!

We are looking forward to re-tackling Cherry Creek with ya when you get some time off in the winter!

Re: cruzinwyo's---->BLACK BETTY

Great write up Jonnie
It really makes me aware of all the details I want to look at the next time we head out. Ohh yeah, it seems we never cross paths on the trail. I am sure we will soon enough.
thanks
Don

Re: cruzinwyo's---->BLACK BETTY

6. The lighting

4 Hella FF50 driving Lights on the font of the roof rack and they put out some pretty good light for their size. I have them lined in an arc so they disperse light out and away from the front of the rig.

2 Hella FF75 fog lights on the rear of the roof rack that are used for backing up or setting up camp or flashing truckers after I pass them. These are really nice to have when in the desert dust and when other rigs are following during the day, as they put out light that can be seen. At night they are angled down in a way that won't bother others on the trail, in fact many following have asked me to turn them on to help see obstacles at a slow pace.

2 4" HID's on the front bumper that are aimed straight down the road. They have a cooler color than the headlights and provide amazing lighting! The lights in the bumper are 4" Hella Angel Eyes.

The switches are wired into the blanks on the center console. I purchased some generic lighted switches and then diligently cut the stock plugs so that the switches could pop in and out. The lights run directly off the battery so setting up camp can be done with the truck off.

All the wiring is now done through a Hella Fuse Block and a Hella Relay Holder that has all the wiring done up nice and tidy.

The end product on the left.
