Re: Building "Bessie", or, Apexbasher's spent retirement

I have a '97 RSV250 that I slapped some lights on. I fenagled my way into a New Mexico street bike title and converted it over to Florida. Yeeha! I can't wait until I live near a track again, so I can undo the street mods and just use it on the track. For now, the only saddle time is around town. Yuck.

That's an awesome track bike. Last I heard, you can't get them anymore. Friends told me it's very agile and easy to flick around. You must be loving the gas mileage on that!

One of the fun things here is that this is NOT the "Aprilia Cup Bike" that was sold here for a few years. That was the RS250 with the cute little Suzuki RGV250 engine fitted. My bike is a totally different animal all together.

That's the bike I thought you had. That might worth a few pretty penny now.

Here's one incarnation...

Then the next day it looked like this...

Me and Team Pepsi Suzuki superbike. Yeehaw!

This is close to how she has looked for the last few years...

Okay, I'm done hi-jacking my own build thread

Very nice build! I love how you made it your own, and made it practical for what you do.
