Re: Former Marine's Gung-Ho Build

I'm gonna chime in and say that roof rack seems like a pretty good way to go. Keep the stock look and makes the whole thing more useable. Nice build, devil.

So the "bug" bit me and I took delivery of a new '08 TT SE (Iceberg White) in July of this year. Less than two months later and several thousand dollars, the build is coming along nicely.

Well my friends, that's it for now. I hope you found this interesting if not informative. I've gained a lot of experience very fast thanks to this Forum and some great vendors.

The build goes on with so much more to come. I look forward to contributing and keeping you posted. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments on the build.

Thanks-
Hey Recon-

Your rig looks great. I'm going to have to see this in person.

I've got a great solution for your Bandi mount ground. Really shouldn't be an issue. I'll email you a pic of a guy with an HQ HF Antenna on the Bandi showing his ground solution. Pretty sharp deal as well.

Which front bumper have you decided on getting or are you still arm wrestling the crop circle folks?

Very nice, looks like you've been busy!

Cool location for the HAM face... easy to get to and see but out of the way.
