Next on list was headlight protection from rocks, mud, sticks, stones, small animals or whatever got kicked up. Found these and easy install...cheap too.

I loosened up top screws and clips on parts of bezel....slipped them in between bezel and headlight...no tabs or hardware needed and they are good and tight. Give clearance between headlight and wire mesh of about 1/8 inch so there is cushion if hit by something heavy or hard for slight compression without touching glass and breaking it. Been in place three weeks and not moved a bit.

I have some other things awaiting installation and in my garage already……and will be added soon:
1. Box of OME shocks/struts to replace my factory struts and shocks finally. Maybe at HAMOM on 15 November if we can find strut compressors. If not then going to Frankies for install and swap out. Someone already has dibs on my stock 4x4 shocks. Sorry.

The one I have is all hand welded...but is very time consuming and with price of steel now was forcing prices up. He told me he is going to a cast model that will make production cheaper (less hand time needed) but not reduce quality or strength...new ones are due out after first of year.

Because I wanted one of Lucrums rear swing out tire carriers...and they are not going to be produced commercially...he might produce them as custom orders one at a time but that might drive price up some. So I bought one now. I did not think I could have the Lucrum swing out sitting in garage...as it would have killed me. Plus found good price on Warn rear....so jumped on it.

Luck would have it ....wife is buying me the front DEMELLO 3 hoop with a custom design on hoops for Christmas. Calling Demello tomorrow to finalize and place order for XMAS.

I got scuba mod left.....full set of OME shocks (front and rear). Plus DBENKE and DOCS FJ62 has bad alternator and some other things needed.

or we can spend 4 hours clay barring my paint since it looks like it has been whipped with a cat-o-nine-tails.
