Nice to see the write up. I've always really liked your rig and look forward to reading more as you post it up.
I've got a couple more to contribute as well as a couple more planned before the end of the summer...

Great write up! I love your rig and have always wondered when you were going to post a build thread.
Thanks, I've just been lazy but glad to finally get it started...

Re: Mtbcoach's "Lvnstrong" build...

Would you mind posting a clear, well-lit picture from the side with the plastic wheel well treatments removed? I think you're on to something there!

Not sure what you are referring to. Only thing I've removed is the plastic flares. Please be more specific and I'll do my best to provide the picture(s). As you can tell, I'm obsessed with taking pics and I'd guess I have something that will accommodate what you are looking for...

Yes, my error, I meant the plastic flares... Two things I'm trying to see... One is how raw the wheel wells look or if it has a more finished look. The other is perspective and whether or not the flare accents make or break the FJ "look"...

My best advise is to review this thread and see if there is anything more I can elaborate on if it doesn't answer your question...

Go naked or not, compare each...
