Hey FjNewb ... hope all is well ... I noticed in a Mar/13 post in the diff/rearend/etc forum that you offered to sell your RockJock 60 rear-end ... I believe you said it has 4.88 gears ... just wondering why you are/were selling it and why you took it out of your truck ... I have an 07 that has developed a rear-end noise with 62km miles on it and am considering options ... from everything I've read, getting away from the 8" is really the only long term albeit expensive solution ...
It looks like I'm not the only one, but here goes: if you have another Scuba Mod kit, I'd love to have one and avoid running around trying to piece it together myself! My 2012 has been saved and improved based on several of your posts! Let me know, LeeV
I got the scuba kit several weeks ago, and am now finally adding it on! (1)Are the best instructions the one on the forum? Also, when i ordered, i did not mention if I had an AT or the rear e locker...both i do have. Perhaps I did mention it and did not realize it? (2)Make a difference in what I ought to see in the box from you? Also, shrink wrap idea you mention, (3)should I do so? Not sure how, another sealing option?
Still selling your scuba mod kit? I have a 2011 that just needs the 2 trans, e-locker, rear diffs (4) breathers moved. Already has the front 2 in the engine bay. Just let me know and how much?
I really liked this write up on the Scube mod. It has been some time since your post, and was wondering if you had any of these "kits" for sale? I am interested if you do.
Please PM (private message) me in regards to the Scuba Mode setup I've done if you'd like further info. For some reason my visitor messages aren't always flagged, so I often won't notice anything thats posted here. Thanks!
