Just picked up my new bike. Will be riding it in the morning. I bought a Trek Top Fuel 9.7. It is only SLX level with a good/better shock. A rock Shox sid, which I am not excited about. Have not ridden it yet, but will in the morning. Going to do a 7 mile climb and descent. Supposed to be very good climber. It is very light and I will upgrade to XTR stuff as I go. I like the levered lock out for the fork and shock, or at least I think I do. Bike really looks good, hope it works half as good as it looks, carbon fiber, white/Red/Black. It is a brand new 2011. Retail was 4200.00. I got it out the door for 1900. Same as the new ones except the new ones come with a Fox fork. Much prefer that, but will buy one when I need. Talked to a guy with one and he loves the Rock Shox. I have several Fox forks so if needed I can change quickly, will lose the remote lock out but they are bump actived, so not much difference I guess.
Hey, I am trying to register, and some how deleted your plan. I am more about getting my trailer on display and running a few close trails. I would like to run Kokopelli after the event if possible, do you have any interest? Hope you see this today. Bob
