I have a 2007 FJ Cruiser. We just got a 19' trailer, dry weight is about 3,000. I am finding that it lugs down to 30 mph from 60 mph on hills. WE are getting ready to go across country. from Utah. We will be crossing monarch pass.
For pulling my trailer, reading the manual closely it says not to downshift from 4 to 3,2,L because it could cause harm to the transmission...so I am going up a hill in 4 and it lugs way down...What do I do now?
Do I need to get a Toyota TRD supercharger?
