I am contacting you because I am from Houston as well. I cannot find out how to make a post.
And, I bought my first FJ about 6 months ago and love it. I came across your name based on comments around the drawers system you built. It is wonderful!
I intend to build one just like it, minus the part 2nd - 3rd additions, as I will be keeping my back seat in.
My main question is related to the power outlet though. It says it runs at 120V-400W. I am wanting to run a piece of equipment that runs at 120V - 1750W - 14.6 amps. Is there any way in hell that this I can accomplish this without blowing the fuses or the vehicle up? I have the right cords (15 amp cords, etc) to run everything, but it seems as though you can only run a blender without adding some hardwiring or more?
If you wanted to run something with this power, what would you do?
Things are well and busy. So busy in fact I am going to be moving to the Good Ol' USA.
Going to be in Houston, quite possibly before Christmas if not just after. Heading back on Nov 8 for 2 weeks to start work(transfer) and seriously look for a place. Not usre if Texas is ready for me yet! jk
The other day I was out for dinner with some friends and their kids, after a fantastic evening of good food and company it came time for the bill. When it did arrive I asked one of the kids…well teenager what the change would if I put down 10 $20 bills and the total was $163.24. He started to open his cell phone to find the calculator, I stopped him and asked him not to used it and do it old school.
