yes, the vision x tantrum lights are very good quality and mine are very bright. i have the "super white" kit. if you get the "multi-color" kit, the white is not as bright. also, i put silicon around the edges, and where the wire comes into the light, just to give them some extra protection against water.

My other OBDII device with wfii that is connected to OBDII port also via a splitter is OT-2, made by innovate motorsports. This unit is linked to my iPad and iPhone using the app called LogWorks.

Scangauge II - read error codes and reset/erase them.
You connect it to the OBDII port located unde the dash/back of the driver side fuse block.

That's a real interesting idea, Michel. I know the bits and parts are easily available here in the States.

I think I may see if I can build a prototype to use myself.
