Well I'm not that far west, I'm in Abilene, Tx stationed at Dyess in the Air Force. Yeah Nebraska is a pretty good place, especially Omaha. I should be making one more trip up there for Christmas before I deploy in Jan. I'm sure as you have noticed Omaha is a great place, hope you enjoy it.

Here is my tale. I grew up along the Gulf Coast of Texas.

My wife and I began our family in Alpine in 1995 and stayed until 2001. I came to appreciate the rugged terrain of the Chihuahua desert that extends throughout much of that region.

My wife is from Nebraska and we moved back to the Husker State in 2002 to be closer to her Family. They are a good bunch and Nebraska is not a bad place for a Texan to hang his hat.

Are you in the Border Patrol? I ask bc you mentioned "Stationed".

Your name says westtexas but your location says Omaha, Ne. Where are you from or where are you now? Currently I'm stationed in west Texas but I'm from Omaha that's why I'm curious.
