    Hey Brian,
Just about to order ICON Stage 1 from PureFJ. They offer a "heavy springs" option. What would you recommend for the following setup. Currently running dual battery (+50 lbs). Plan to add in the next few months Aluminess bumper (+ 80 lbs) and winch (+ 60 lbs). So can the regular springs handle approx. 200 lbs? If I go with the heavy springs, will it be a pig for a couple of months until I put the bumper and winch on? I also plan on upgrading the kit to the overland rear springs. I currently run about 150 lbs extra in the rear and will eventually increase that. Your advice is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Franco

    Hi Brian,
I presume you work for Icon - I was curious if you knew the free length height of the Icon 3 inch expedition coils?

    Thanks,
    Justin

Hey Todd, was directed over here by some members. I just bought the 2007 stage 1 Icon suspension kit. I assumed that, if I wanted to eventually, I could send the shocks back to get rebuilt with the remote reservoir and extended travel. I have heard conflicting opinions about if you can do this this and wanted to clear it up.

    Thanks

I didn't try to collapse them by hand. I probably should have but didn't. How do I check the nitrogen? Do I need a special gauge for that?

I just installed my new Icon lift this past weekend that I got from Metal Tech and had a question for you on the rear lift. When I come to a stop, the rear will sway/rock up and down a few times like I can feel the gas going back and forth in the tank. My wife even saw it when I drove into a parking lot last night. Is this something with the rear shocks not valved correctly?

I posted this question on the forums( http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forums/suspension-steering-tech/165215-icon-rear-lift-question.html ) earlier and thought I would contact Metal Tech about it. Figured I would run it by you first.

    Thanks,

    William Wixon
