Question SAWs

Hi

I am about ready to purchase the 3" lift including the C/O's for the front, and the rear springs and shocks. Is there any reason you are aware of that should necessitate me having the install done by a shop. I believe I can perform the install, but I have heard of different issues on the forums about people having bad installs done. What does this mean? How would one do a bad install? Its seems that it could really only be done one way? Thanks for any input.

Re: SAWs

You can install these if you are comfortable with doing some minor automotive work. I believe most of the problems come from when the shops adjust the coilovers wrong. The SAW system has been great on my FJ with almost no adjustment of the coilovers. You should have the allignment done after install. Good luck!

Re: SAWs

You can do the installation yourself with no problem. I would recommend renting a tie rod end puller from Auto Zone since it is hard to get the coil over into position with the tie rod in place.

We will set the correct pre-load for you, for the 3" lift and make sure that all the shocks and coil overs have the right amount of nitrogen charge.
