Metal-tech Tube Doors Shipping this week!

Metal-tech Tube Doors Shipping this week!

The new Metal-tech Tube Doors for your FJ Cruiser are now ready to ship. These come powder coated and all the hardware for $439.95 for the pair.

Spy shot in the shop last week before the first production ones went out for powder.

These are the same doors shown at FJ Cruiser Summit this year, however we have added a mirror mount to both. The mirrors are fully adjustable and will fold as any good trail mirror should. These are available for $74.95 for a pair from Metal-tech. (Did you know one factory mirror is over $220 EACH!)

Here is the first photo of the tube doors with the mirror. We will have fancier photos soon, however we are working hard to get our truck ready for SEMA. We will have updated photos from SEMA with the tube doors and mirrors next week.

With mirror

Side shot from the Summit this past summer:

Trail

Everyone on our pre-order list has been contacted/voice mail has been left/or your voice mail was full. We will have a SMALL number of extra sets available with this run. If you would like to order a set please call us at 800-839-0684. A second run is being started right now and we will have more stocked for ideal holiday gifts so go drop the hints to loved ones!

Friggin Sweet!!!!

How hard are they to install/uninstall? It would be nice to be able to swap the doors for the weekends!

They install real easy. The factory doors have two quick disconnects in the kick panel (no tools needed to get to). From there you have a buddy hold the door and you u-bolt it from the hinges. Since the factory doors use shoulder bolts the alignment for your stock doors stays the same.

You need a friend to help to keep the task simple. Each front door weighs 77lbs each.

Driving the truck with the tube doors is amazing since you have an incredible amount of visibility! Ok and just sporting around town is a blast too. I have been chased down by two cars asking if the FJC’s all come like this.

Nice!

Just watch out for water crossings, though...

Ahhhrrrghhhhh these are so sweeeet.... no way I can lay down that kind of coin for them though.

And if TrAiLbUs1 gets them and I have to look at them all the time on runs out here I'll be SUPER pissed.
